Types: Windows
Renewal by Andersen® offers many different styles of windows and
window coverings. You can choose from a variety of colors, grille
options, and hardware. Replacing your windows is about more than
good looks. All of our windows are Energy Star, NFRC (National Fenestration
Rating Council) and Green Seal certified.

Double Hung Window ~ Our version of this traditional design features
gently curving lines for elegance and symmetry. Both the top and bottom
sash open to provide the ventilation you desire and tilt in for easy cleaning.
The durable lock and weather stripping around all four sides of each sash
seal out wind and rain. Choose the oriel-style with a larger upper sash
or the cottage-style with a larger lower sash.

Casement Window ~ Open wide! Casement windows are our
most energy-efficient, ventilating window style. They're the perfect choice
above cabinets, counters, or areas where opening and closing require a
reach. Just crank them outward and direct the fresh air indoors. The
casement opens wide making it easy to clean the outside glass from the
inside, and the casement can be hinged from the right or the left. The
easy to reach single lever securely locks the window at multiple points
for a weather-tight seal. Complement or update your home's décor
with our optional grilles.

Gliding Window ~ The modern elegance of a gliding window is an
ideal solution, particularly when a projecting window might interfere
with walkways, patios, decks, or landscaping. Designed with slim, contoured
lines, you can choose optional grilles in styles to complement, update,
or change your home’s decor. From a functional standpoint, the sash
open easily, both sides of the window are operational, and they lift out
of the track for quick cleaning. A stationary sash is also available.
The Fibrex material tracks won't pit, rust, or corrode and wipe clean
with a damp cloth making cleaning a snap.

Awning Window ~ Rain or shine, the awning window is an easy way
to boost your ventilation. It swings outward from the bottom with a turn
of the crank, and the operating mechanism keeps the sash securely open.
Arrange it singly or combine it with other window styles for more ventilation
and light. The dual weather strip system provides a tight seal when the
sash is locked and closed, while double locking points keep the window
tightly closed. Awning windows project outward and should not be installed
where they might interfere with a safe pathway.

Window and Picture Window Combinations ~ Match
or change your home's appearance by combining picture windows with other
picture windows, casement, gliding, awning, double hung or specialty windows.
Using strong Fibrex material frames, our picture windows easily support
the weight of our glass commonly needed for large picture windows. Like
all our windows, picture window glass is available in tempered, tinted
or a wide variety of decorative patterns.

Angle Bay/Bow Window ~ Angle bay and bow
windows can be installed in most large window openings, allowing you to
improve your home’s appearance while also dramatically changing
the feel of the room. Angle bay windows are available in four projection
angles up to a 90 degree box bay. Select your preferred window style or
combination of styles. Seatboard and headboard can be insulated and are
available in birch or oak. Bow windows sweep away from the wall in
a graceful arch. Choose a four, five, or six window bow in many window
style combinations. Projections and openings are custom-sized for a perfect
fit.
Specialty Windows
Specialty
windows are available in 13 basic shapes and a wide variety of colors,
grille patterns and glass options. Like picture windows, specialty windows
are non-operational, but they can be mulled to any other window style
for maximum design flexibility.
